Singer/SongwriterChloe Brodie
Chloe is Singer, Songwriter and Multi-Instrumentalist from Calgary, Alberta Canada and is currently going to Berklee College of Music in College, and we cannot wait to hear what other wonderful music she has in store! Chloe wrote, sings and plays guitar on “Racing Minds”, her latest single. She is inspired by old R&B, Jazz and Modern Pop.
Chloe visited The Barnhouse in 2024 as a part of our Emerging Artist Program and recorded an EP. Justin LaPointe Produced, Engineered and played Drums, Bass and Guitar on this featured track “Racing Minds.

Singer/SongwriterTyler Johnson
Tyler Johnson is a Guitarist and Songwriter based in Victoria, British Columbia. His passion for music was ignited when he discovered his father’s extensive record collection at the age of 12, leading him to pick up the guitar.
Having an eclectic taste in music Tyler draws influence from various genres from Folk, Rock, Blues, Country, Celtic, Traditional, Pop etc.
In 2023/24, Tyler made an album at Barnhouse Sound with Justin LaPointe producing and Engineering Here he showcases his skills as a solo artist, enchanting the crowd with his heartfelt compositions and impressive guitar playing.

Singer/SongwriterMister Bird
Wayfaring and whimsical by nature, weaving stories into melodies, in his own bluesy/folk, foot-tapping style. Mister Bird highlights the magic of the wild & the subtle miracles of everyday. Recognized for his heart moving performances, and his powerful & oh so gentle voice. Gracefully singing about the heavy truths of life, love and loss, bringing them to the light in song.
Mister Bird visited The Barnhouse in 2024 as a part of our Emerging Artist Program, and decided to stay for a week and make an album with Justin LaPointe Producing/Engineering and adding the occasional overdub. Check out his website for tour dates!

Featured Band: Blush
Blush is a coastal Western Canadian Alt-indie rock band that weaves together crunchy textures, haunting electronics, and ethereal melodies.
In 2023/24 Blush made an EP “Still Wet” at The Barnhouse with Justin LaPointe Producing and Engineering. Recorded mostly live off the floor, with the band intimately locked into a groove “Still Wet” is reminiscent of Grungey rock from the 90’s combined with more modern ethereal and haunting electronic textures. Blush came to The Barnhouse as a part of our Emerging Artist Program.
Featured Band: Idle Lane
Idle Lane are an alternative hard rock powder keg of venom from Victoria, British Columbia, where their heavy groove oriented two guitar attack pays homage to the classic rock of the 70s and alternative rock of the 90s, finding new ground off the map that others follow. Influenced and inspired by Jane’s Addiction and Smashing Pumpkins as well as Cream and The Beatles, Idle Lane’s music is, appropriately, a warm cocktail of rock grooves serving the song. Play it loud, make it melodic.
Idle Lane made an EP “Like a Zipper” at The Barnhouse in 2024 with Justin LaPointe Producing and Engineering. With 2 singles out now, “Feet on the Fire” and “Moments of Our Lives”.
